Challenges of the Baby Church
|
This Sunday, Father Peter Siwek will offer Part Two of a sermon series called "Challenges of the Baby Church." Though the Church is 2,000 years old, we still face many of the same challenges that the first Christians experienced.
Last week's message was "The Struggle for Power" and you can download a copy of it here. This Sunday's message is "There Isn't Enough!" and June 12 will be "Unforgivable Sins".

All are invited to join us on Sunday, June 5 for our Parish Picnic in the Memorial Garden of Grace (or in the Parish Hall in case of inclement weather). Please bring a side dish to share.
We need volunteers to help with set up and clean up. Please see Jane Shirley or Sarah Hunt to volunteer.
This year we are thrilled to announce that we'll offer pony rides for the kids from Noon to 1PM. There will also be games for all.

Concerts@6:26 Series Returns
|

All are welcome to this series, now in its 9th season!
|
|
Grace Episcopal Church will sponsor the Ninth Season of Concerts@6:26 throughout the summer. Each Thursday during the summer, beginning June 2, we will sing Evensong at 6:00 p.m., followed at precisely 6:26 p.m. with a thirty-minute recital to be offered in the Gothic-Revival splendor of Grace Episcopal Church. There will be a freewill offering, half of which goes to our outreach programs. The last concert in this season's series will be offered on August 11th.

Children's Formation Visioning Meeting

 We hope you'll join us for a Children's Formation Visioning Meeting this Sunday, June 5th 9:30-10:30 in the Red Room (2nd floor). Childcare will be provided in the nursery.

Thank You, PADS Volunteers!

 A huge THANK YOU to all the PADS Cooks and overnight volunteers for another very successful year. With your help we filled about 500 beds and served almost 1000 meals (counting dinner and breakfast). Each and every one contributes so much...this is not a one-person project by any means! The PADS Cooks will be having a planning meeting in mid-August. Our group includes both men and women and if you'd like to join us next year, please let Sue Wells (sue@wells1.com) or any of the PADS Cooks know. |
