40th Anniversary of the Ordination of the First Female Episcopal Priests
|
On July 29, 1974, in Philadelphia, eleven women were ordained as the first female priests in the Episcopal Church. They became known as the "Philadelphia Eleven."
We've compiled some resources in celebration of this anniversary, and you will find them at this link.

Lake & Forest Parking Garage Closing August 4th
|
The village-owned parking garage adjacent to our parking lot is closing on August 4 in preparation for the new development at that site. Those who use the Lake & Forest garage have been directed to the Holley Court Garage a few blocks to the west, and accessible from both Marion and Ontario streets. The Avenue Garage at Oak Park Avenue and North Boulevard also is a nearby parking option. Please note that Grace will continue to maintain exclusive parking rights on Sunday mornings in the open lot we lease to the village. More information about the development project is on the Village of Oak Park website at this link.

A Few Reminders About Our Kitchen
|
Please remember to clean up after yourself when in the kitchen (or, for that matter in any room) at Grace.
If you use it, please wash it, dry it, and put it away. If you spill it, please wipe it clean. Kindly remember to empty coffee grounds from the new coffee maker and dispose of them in the trash. Also, please do not leave any food out.
That mythical kitchen fairy we envision cleaning up in the middle of the night after us doesn't really exist.
Thanks for your cooperation!
