From the Rector

Shawn 2010 Sitting by the baptismal font and listening to the water took me to far away places. I found myself thinking about physical water and spiritual water. Spiritual water!  Sounds odd, doesn't it? Yet there I was pondering the people who have helped to cleanse my wounds, people who give me a fresh and clean perspective on life, people who quench my thirst for peace and justice and places that fill me up in ways that are more difficult to articulate than you can imagine.

Several months ago I ended a sermon with something like, "If you feel like you're drowning in water, remember the living water of God and Jesus Christ." Believing that has helped me many times in my life. Knowing that there is a God and a Christ who look after me in the words and deeds and thoughts of humanity help me to face anything that comes my way.

Where is the living water in your life? Join us on Thursdays at 9PM (see below) as a way to sit in the quiet, living waters.

Lenten Prayer Stations at Grace
Prayer Stations

Around the church are stations for personal reflection.  You are encouraged to go to each station and there, use the activity as a potential vehicle in your spiritual journey.  These stations are designed to open your mind to various possibilities and challenge you to think about life and Lent in different ways.  It is our prayer they will help inspire you on your spiritual journey this year in Lent.

Click here to walk these stations from wherever you may be.
