Christian Formation

Children and Youth:
Registration time for children and youth is now upon us.  Please take a moment to register your child(ren) at this link:

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and Journey to Adulthood are spectacular ways to have your child enter into a relationship with God and Christ and build community with other folks their age.  It is always stunning to me to see the difference in the faith development of young adults who have participated in either or both of these ministries. They give the foundation for articulating one's faith. Please consider having your child participate as part of your role as a parent (or other friend or relative) of bringing your child up in the Christian faith and life.

Adult Formation:

Whether you like books studies or engaging in spiritual and theological questions, there will be several opportunities to engage your faith.

Conversation Continues:  In August we started talking about our reactions to the Trayvon Martin case and the verdict that was given.  Lascelles Anderson, Steven Kvaal, Nadia Stefko and I will work on the next steps for this conversation.  We will explore many topics: justice, violence, race and more. Please let me know if you would like to help get this going.

Newcomer's Inquiring Minds Class:  There is so much to learn about Grace and the Episcopal Church. Join others in asking your questions and exploring your faith.

Book Study: Please see article below.

Please email me for ideas to explore and your own willingness to jump in a lead a topic.

P.S. We're looking forward to the Madrigal, Schola and Adult Choirs resuming this week.

Our Mission:

Grace Church seeks to bring God's love and Christ's teaching to all people, to become a passionately involved, intentional Christian community, to support the spiritual journey of each person, and to work toward reconciliation, peace, and justice in our world.

 Our Core Values:

-Reach out to support our neighbors locally and worldwide as we seek to obey God's command to love our neighbors as ourselves.

-Encourage and support spiritual growth in all people while respecting that each person is at a different point in his or her spiritual journey.

-Work to be ever more present to and caring for each member of the Grace community and to be fully welcoming to all who enter Grace's doors.
