A revelation that harkens back to Napa's origins

 The story begins in the early 1880s when the red clay hillsides in the Mayacamas Range were first planted to Zinfandel. Here, an ideal match of place and grape allows Zinfandel to show its original glory. Storybook Mountain's estate wines are hand-crafted from certified organic vineyards surrounding the winery, then aged in the deep caves under the vines.

The future of tradition is on display here in this historic area of Napa Valley from the, organic, old-vine plantings to the hand-dug caves for aging. When you taste this wine, you experience the greatness of this California original, not the overbearing versions that dominate shelves today. Inviting aromas with hints of roses and herbs, cool red berries, and an enticing array of exotic scents. Supple tannins, nicely structured. So elegant and beautifully balanced!
