Villero's hallmark characteristics of fine tannic structure and a cool, austere, reserved style, are augmented by Luca Currado's immaculate work in the vineyards, harvesting perfectly ripe Nebbiolo grapes and using judicious amounts of new oak, to allow the vineyard characteristics of this hallowed site to speak with great clarity. Please welcome Richard Harmer, our new Wine Associate in Belmont. Richard has long enjoyed a passion for wine, especially Italian wine. After 16 years in banking, Richard decided to make a career change and pursue his dream of working in the wine industry. While considering the change, Richard enrolled in the Wine Studies Certificate Program at Boston University. Currently completing the fourth and final course, Richard is eager to use his knowledge to help you select the perfect bottle!
Richard got his start in wine retail at Urban Grape, and we are excited to have him join us at VINTAGES.
"I always look forward to sharing my passion and knowledge of wine with my customers, and helping them make new discoveries of their own.
