"The greatest use of life is to spend it for something that outlasts it." This quote by William James sums up well my father's life. His legacy to his family, friends, community, nation, and world will last for generations to come. Thank you seems very inadequate to express the heartfelt gratitude of my family and I for the outpouring of love, prayers, and comfort you have extended to us. Please know that your support has meant so much to us during my father's move to his final Home. I am honored to be your pastor.

During the month of July, you were also "generous and willing to share" with those in need through Christian Community Assistance. We delivered over 500 toiletry and food items to CCA on Friday. The staff of CCA expressed their gratitude to you for your generosity. Many lives will be touched as a result. Thank you for your generosity!

Our focus this week will be to teach the child that he can use his feet.

Joshua talked, and I can too.

God's people played trumpets. Toot, toot, toot.

Joshua marched with his feet. Stomp, stomp!

I am growing, and I just can't stop.

Threes:

Unit 2: God is with Elijah and Elisha

Our focus this week is for the child to be able to tell that God provided food for Elijah.

Life Application: Care: To help the child know God cares for him by providing for his needs.
