Is there a particular test you remember taking when you were in school? I do. I will be sharing about one experience this Sunday and what I learned from that experience. The purpose of the test turned out to be something other than what I thought it was at the beginning. Maybe the same is true for you. Do you find yourself in a season of testing? Perhaps a new perspective will help you through this time. I hope you will join me this Sunday as I begin a new teaching series entitled This is a Test. We will spend the next three weeks learning about the four tests I believe we need to pass as we grow in our obedience to God. I am excited to see what God has in store for us during this series!

This week our "Basic Training" is about sharing our Faith with others. As a Christian, God has called each of YOU to share His message of love to others. Children will learn and understand that it is OUR job to pray and believe that those who do not know God will accept His love and forgiveness just as we did.

Am I a Boy or Girl?

Our focus this week will be to teach the child that God made him or her a special boy or girl.

Our Bible verse: "I am...wonderfully made." Psalm 139:14 (NIV)

Our action verse:

God made me, and God made you.

I am special, and you are too.

There are lots of boys and girls, you see.

But there is nobody that's just like me!

Threes:

Unit 2: God is with Noah

God Protects Noah

Our focus this week is for the child to be able to tell that God protected Noah and his family.

Bible verse: "God remembered Noah." Genesis 8:1 (NIV)

Life Application: Protect: To encourage the child that God protects her.
