"Then the disciple who had reached the tomb first also went in, and he saw and believed-."

(John 20:8 NLT)

Two people, Peter and John, had both followed Jesus, sat under His teaching, prayed with Him, fished with Him, and witnessed the miracles He had performed. Yet, when they received the news that Jesus was not in the tomb, only John believed that Jesus had risen from the dead. He finally understood the teachings of Jesus.

Which disciple best represents where you are in life? Do you believe with John that Jesus rose from the dead to pay the debt for your sins? Do you believe Jesus can change your perspective on life by giving you the hope of eternal life?

This week we continue our series titled "Never Too Young".

Our lesson comes from the story of Naaman's young servant girl. We do not know the servant girl's name but we know that she was very brave. She spoke up to Naaman, a powerful adult, and tells him to visit the prophet, Elisha, so that he can be healed. After a very unique experience, Naaman did as she said and was ultimately healed! Through this story, children learn about having the courage to speak up and share the truth. If the servant girl would not have been willing to speak up, this would may not have happened. When we speak up, lives can be changed!!

Life Application: Friendship: To help the child know that Jesus is her friend.
