Hello Friends,

 

I toured the Post Castle located off Versailles Rd with my wife Jean this last weekend.

 

I have lived in Central KY for the last 40 years but have never been inside the castle.

 

We bought tickets for the tour and the owner, Mr. Post graciously donated 100% of the proceeds for a weekend of tours to the Salvation Army.

 

He specifically earmarked the money for the homeless. Last years tour generated enough money to provide 48,000 meals for the homeless! Wow that's grass roots powerful!

 

I initially put a few pictures of the castle on my facebook page and promised I would  give  a quick pictoral tour in my newsetter today.

 

All I ask is you just drop a few coins or bills into your local Salvation Army Kettle.

Parkway Development's latest tenant needed their new space fit out for the expansion of their jewelry business. Cheri with Parkway contracted with CMA to make this happen quickly and cost effectively.
 

TM Construction completed the framing, Green Box the HVAC, Settles Drywall the drywall and commercial drop celing and Lanham Electric to round out the work. Guys thanks for a great job as usual. You are the reason for our collective success!

Some pretty neat pictures of a local landmark taken on a tour last weekend by myself and my wife Jean.

 

If you would like to stay at Post Castle it is open to the public on a nightly basis, where you can rent a suite for the night, rent a room for a wedding or anniversary celebration or just rent the whole castle!

 

If you want to spend the night you will receive a continential breakfast each morning, a 6 course dinner meal for two prepared by the Castle Posts Executive Chef served in the formal dining room! Depending on the room you choose this will only set you back $420 to $670 per night.
