We Wish You a Merry Christmas!

From all of us who serve in the Bishop's Office of our Lower Susquehanna Synod we send wishes for a very Merry Christmas. As you gather tonight and tomorrow to worship and celebrate the incarnation of God, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you continue to rejoice in Christ's birth throughout the 12 days of Christmas and every day of your life. Peace and joy!

...We pray for the family of Eunice Mwankinja.

Eunice was the youngest child of Provost Gwamaka Mwankenja of the Southern Highlands University College (formerly the Lutheran Teachers' College at Mbeya in the Konde Diocese). Eunice was killed in a tragic car accident during her family's travel to Dar Es Salaam where her brother Eliezer was to board a plane for the United States to begin his college studies at Harrisburg Area Community College.

...We pray for peace, justice, and reconciliation for the whole human family around the world, wherever God's beloved children encounter violence, prejudice, and injustice.
