Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,

 

It is my joy to bring you greetings on this eve of the Season of Advent. My prayer for you is that these weeks will provide for you a time of reflection, anticipation, and preparation. Below you will find my annual Advent message. Please share it with your congregation and others. You will also find it available on our synod's YouTube Channel. I also ask for your prayers for the family of the Rev. John Bernheisel (retired), who died yesterday afternoon (Friday, November 29). Services are tentatively planned for Thursday of next week at St. Matthew, York.  Etzwiler Funeral Home in York is handling arrangements. We will post more information as it becomes available.
