  Together in Mission
We are a church that believes God is calling us into the world - together in mission!   We invite all congregations to join Bishop James S. Dunlop and members of the Synod's Stewardship Education & Mission Support Table in dialogue about the Lower Susquehanna Synod's goals and objectives for Mission Support in 2014.    What does mission support mean to you? What will guide our Synod in decisions concerning mission support in the coming year? How will my congregation benefit from mission support? What resources are available to help your congregation? These questions and more will be the topics of discussion.
Who should attend: Pastors, Council Presidents, Council Treasurers, your congregation's Stewardship Chairperson are all encouraged to attend. All others are welcome.   Date: Oct. 24, 2013 Time: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Location: Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman Street, Lebanon, PA 17046-4708 |

Update from the Rimmers...
Greetings, to you, our Sponsoring Congregations and Synod Companions!   Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts that you have shared about the water shortage here in Dakar. The good news is, the replacement pipes are working, water is being restored to the city, and schools are opening. Thanks be to God, for the gifts of water technicians, and water which is a source for creation's health.

The Children's education program in one of our companion congregations was exploring the theme of water justice as a part of their celebration of creationtide, and they asked if Paul Michael and Luke would share thoughts on their experience of the water shortage for the children. I put together this little video of their thoughts on the importance of water, water justice for the people and environment in Senegal, and how we tried to respond to the issue here in Dakar. It's a little message from your kid missionaries.
You can download it from that site if you would like to use it in some way.  And we pray that this message finds you all well in God's good grace.
the peace of Christ to you all,

 Pastor Chad
