Celebrating with Joanne  Wilhelm     | | | Joanne with Bishop Emeritus Guy Edmiston and Bishop Penrose Hoover |

This past Saturday, friends, colleagues, and family members of Joanne Wilhelm gathered for a time of food and fellowship in celebration of Joanne's more than 36

years of ministry in our synod's office. Our Saviour Lutheran Church was the site of the festivities. Not surprisingly, the table featured a bounteous and lovely spread of favorite sweet and savory culinary treats , reflecting both our appreciation and gratitude for Joanne and our Lutheran tradition of sharing and enjoying food. One of the highlights of the day was seeing Joanne smiling and laughing with all of the bishops with whom she served, along with present and former synod office staff and many rostered leaders and congregational representatives.
Nota Bene| | | Joanne with Jan and Rev. David Fisher, and retired bishop Carol Hendrix   |
: If you were unable to be present at this event, there's still time to send Joanne a card, note, or e-mail before she picks up her golf clubs and heads out the door. |
