Wrapped in Love and Prayers

The Prayer Shawl Ministry Team of Zion, Grantville, created 29 shawls for residents of Spang Crest, a Luthercare Retirement Community in Lebanon.  These tangible signs of God's love and care were dedicated during worship on April 7.  God's work.  Our hands.

Prayer Requests

We continue to pray for the Rev. Betsy Lartz as she recovers from surgery treatment to remove a brain tumor.  Pastor Lartz is a patient  in intensive care at Harrisburg Hospital.  While Pastor Lartz appreciates visits, the hospital staff requests that visiting be limited to her pastor and representatives of the bishop's office.  Messages of care and concern can be sent to Pastor Lartz at Harrisburg Hospital, 111 S. Front Street, Harrisburg, PA  17101.
