Messiah Lutheran Church, Fisherville (Halifax), conducted a drive to support the ELCA Malaria Campaign in October and November of 2012. Pastor Mike Petresky reports that $490 was raised to help "swat out malaria!"

All are welcome to be a part of the "ribbon cutting" as we say "thank you" to our partners in ministry, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans and the Mission Investment Fund, for their financial support. Amy-Jill Levine to Present Jewish-Christian Lecture Series

Music, Gettysburg! Presents Choral Evening Prayer for Passion Sunday
Music, Gettysburg! presents Festival Choral Vespers for Passion Sunday on Sunday evening, March 24, at 7:30 P.M. in the chapel of the Gettysburg Seminary. This Choral Evening Prayer opens Holy Week with a moving candelight service led by the Schola Cantorum of Gettysburg, free and open to the public. The one hour event includes music from across four centuries. The Seminary Chapel is on Seminary Ridge in Gettysburg. Gettysburg Seminary announces Scholars of Abundance
restructuring scholarships to make last leg of degree work tuition-free
The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg has a new structure for its scholarship distribution to students called Scholars of Abundance. In essence, students entering the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree program will, upon successful completion of their itnernship in the third year, receive a full tuition scholarship for the last 30 credits of their degree. Position: Campaign Office Manager

The Lutheran Camping Corporation is seeking a campaign office manager for the Seeding the Future Capital Campaign. This position is part-time (15-20 hours/week) and will terminate at the end of the campaign (1.5 - 2 years). Tasks would include correspondence with congregations, distribution of campaign resource materials, providing support to volunteers, and general office tasks. The campaign office is located at Camp Nawakwa, approximately 12 miles from Gettysburg. Applicants should be self-directed, possess excellent comunication and organizational skills, demonstrate proficiency with both Word and Excel, and embody the goals and mission of the Lutheran Camping Corporation. Familiarity with the Lower Susquehanna Synod is most helpful. Salary: $11.50/hour. Inquiries should be made to Michael Youse, Executive Director, myouse@LutheranCamping.org or 717.677.8211.
