Display created by Rose Steinhauer Messiah, Fisherville
through the ELCA Malaria Campaign on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

Visit the ELCA Malaria Campaign Web page and our synod Malaria Campaign Web page to find ideas and resources for planning a service to draw attention to the malaria crisis.

Messiah Lutheran Church, Fisherville (Halifax), conducted a drive to support the ELCA Malaria Campaign in October and November of 2012.  Pastor Mike Petresky reports that $490 was raised to help "swat out malaria!"

Asset-based planing is an approach that helps to focus the congregation on strengths rather than perceived needs.  The method is a fun approach to planning that nurtures the gifts of all involved and avoids burnout of participants.

There is no charge for this event, but donations will be accepted to cover the cost of refreshments.  Learn more and download a print-friendly bulletin insert.
