      tech4tanzania Developing Partnerships for LIfe   tech4tanzania, a ministry of St. Paul Lutheran Church (Enola), is working to strengthen partnerships with one of the constituent campuses of Tumaini University, Tanzania.  On March 3, 2013, the school was officially recognized and accredited as Southern Highland University College (SHUCo), Mbeya.  In July of 2012, individuals, congregations from various mainline religious traditions, civic groups and schools filled and shipped an ocean-going container to SHUCo with more than 100 computer systems and peripheral equipment supplied by Computer Ministry, Inc., and other IT partners.      The container is big.  The needs are bigger.    On June 4, tech4tanzania will send another container of requested academic materials.  On board will be another 100 computers with peripheral supplies and equipment.  To learn more or offer your assistance, contact:

 As of March 1, 27% of our ELCA-Primary plan members and their eligible spouse have taken the May Clinic Health Assessment.  We need 102 more people to take the assessment to reach 65% and earn our 2% discount on ELCA health contributions this year.  If we earn this discount, each of our synod congregations will pay 2% less for health contributions this year.
