At work, generational differences can affect everything: recruiting, building teams, dealing with change, motivating, managing, maintaining and increasing productivity. Communication differences between the generations can cause misunderstandings, employee turnover, difficulty in attracting employees and gaining employee commitment. For the first time we have four generations in the workforce and the stakes are high. I take a deeper look into this growing trend in my most recent leadership blog.
