Each year, the Gates Millennium Scholars Program selects a total of 1,000 talented students from across the country to receive a full good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice. We are excited to share that two students from LPS-Hayward and two students from LPS-Oakland have been named 2014 Gates Millennium Scholars!

Gold Awards for LPS!
U.S. News & World Report awards highest honor to LPS-Richmond and LPS-Hayward.
U.S. News & World Report, a nationally recognized publisher of education news and information, announced its list of 2014 Best High Schools. The 2014 rankings placed LPS-Hayward 29th in California and 184th nationally. LPS-Richmond was ranked 80th in California and 373rd nationally. Both schools also received a Gold Award, the highest honor given to schools based on academic performance and college readiness.
