Deke of the Week Kevin Shattenkirk vs. Corey Crawford
Although it wasn't the prettiest deke we have seen in the past two weeks, Kevin Shattenkirk gets the nod, mostly for his strong New England ties, being born in CT, and attending Boston University. This move against Corey Crawford seems simple on paper, but to execute it in the 6th round of the shootout as a defenseman shows confidence and poise. As Shattenkirk comes into the zone he comes down on his off wing and throws a head fake at Crawford. Once Crawford goes down, Shattenkirk calmly slips the puck onto his forehand and roofs it to beat the Blackhawks. Enjoy the Deke of the Week.
