headshotIs anyone else amazed that September is almost over?!

In the few weeks since my last newsletter, I've produced a Splish Splash Birthday Bash and a Benefit Polo Match with Luncheon; traveled to Gettysburg to assist with the 2013 Congressional Medal of Honor Convention; and sent my girls back to school after a fantastic vacation ... but not before winning my first international event award ... the coveted Esprit Award for Best Team Effort Budget over $200,000!

Given this recent accomplishment, as well as the previous Capital Award, I decided to take my career to the next level.  Earlier this month, I accepted a full-time position with the top-notch event professionals at The Webster Group in Washington, DC.

What does this change mean for you?  Twice as many resources and inspiring ideas for your marketing and fundraising events, as well as personal celebrations ... starting with this newsletter issue!

On a recent Sunday afternoon in the charming rural town of Upperville, VA, my team had the pleasure of transforming a vacant tent into an elegant luncheon (with polo match).

My favorite detail ... the table centerpieces!  The event chair had the idea of incorporating a polo trophy into the arrangement and Carol from Galleria Florist accepted the design challenge.  I think she nailed it, don't you?
