Brundage Mountain Opens Friday!

We are excited to announce that we will open the 2013/14 Winter Season on Friday, December 20!

Favorable temperatures have allowed us to pack our snow base and open three of our five chairlifts.

We plan to run the BlueBird Quad, Centennial Triple Chair and Easy Street Triple Chair from 9:30 - 4:30.

Visitors can enjoy a discounted $36 all-mountain lift ticket on opening day or purchase a $15 ticket for Easy Street only.

Encouraging signs in the forecast lead us to believe we may be able to open more terrain very soon.

The National Weather Service is predicting 1-2" of snow Wednesday night, with another 5-11" possible by Saturday morning. Updates on additional terrain and lift operations will be made as warranted at www.brundage.com. Check out our mid-mountain forecast.

We do want visitors to be aware that early season conditions exist, off-trail riding is not advised at this point, and that skiers and riders need to obey closures and markings for their own safety. We also encourage you to check the grooming report daily for changes to normal grooming patterns.

Light Up the Night Party Set for Saturday

Don't forget, our annual holiday party is this Saturday. Light Up the Night features a bonfire, beer garden, torchlight parade, tree lighting and a slope-side fireworks show.

Smoky's Bar & Grill will be open late with a special menu for Light Up the Night guests.

Live music will entertain guests who choose to purchase tickets for a special holiday sit-down dinner right after the light show.

Full details are available here.

More specifics on Friday's opening plans and a preview of slope conditions will be available Thursday on our Snow Blog.

We hope to see you on the slopes soon!
