Vascular Surgery Match: Important Dates and Tips
VascularSurgery Integrated Programs (0+5) 
  • Remember that the interview goes both ways.  
  • Analyze data from your interview visits to compare programs. 
  • Submit your Rank Order Lists on NRMP.org by February 26.  
  • Continue to seek advice from advisors, residents, and friends. 

Vascular Surgery Fellowships (0+5)

  • Submit your applications as soon as possible. Programs typically close in January.
  • Make sure that your applications are complete and your letters of recommendation have been received by the programs.  
  • Participate in the match beginning on January 22 on NRMP.org. 
  • Ask to spend a day before or after the interview shadowing current fellows to get a better sense of the day-to-day environment.

  • The SVS Foundation Resident Research Prize application deadline is January 2. Learn more.   
  • The SVS Foundation Student Research Fellowship is accepting applications until March 17. Learn more.  
  • Abstracts and surgical videos for the 2014 Vascular Annual Meeting can now be submitted online through January 2.    
  • The 2014 Vascular Annual Meeting will be held in Boston, MA from June 5-7.    
  • The Resident and Student educational program agenda and information on travel scholarship opportunities will be available on VascularWeb.org by early January. Learn more.
