Surgery Integrated Programs (0+5)
- It may help to front-load your vascular surgery 0+5 interviews and backload your general surgery interviews.
- A simple way to compare the strengths and weaknesses of the visited programs is to create a chart or spreadsheet you can easily just add notes to after each visit.
- After your visits be sure to send thank you letters and express your continued interest.
- Always remember: There are two main objectives for interviews: 1)Determine if the PROGRAM is right for you and 2)Determine if YOU are right for the program.
2014 Match Tips: Vascular Surgery Fellowship Programs (5+2) for the 2015 Academic Year Match
- Applicants can begin applying to ACGME accredited Vascular Surgery Fellowship Programs (5+2) on November 15, 2013.
- Meet with faculty to get personalized letters of recommendations. Share your CV, statement, research, and career goals with them.
- Rank order on NRMP begins on March 26, 2014 and has a deadline of May 7, 2014.
- Match Day for the 2015 academic year is on May 21, 2014.
