Tuesday, April 2
12:00pm - 1:00pm PST

These three wise teachers will help us take an honest look at how we might embrace illness, aging, and death as part of our spiritual practice. They will focus on the possibility of using our everyday encounters with these facts of life as a means of  developing wisdom and compassion.

This is also our way of introducing the Heavenly Messengers training a new collaboration between the Metta Institute and the Spirit Rock Meditation Center. This two-year program will include 5 residential retreats and combine classic Buddhist practice & study with mindfulness meditation, contemporary approaches to caregiving and compassionate action. Core faculty also includes Bob Stahl, Sharda Rogel and Ange Stephens. Guest teachers include: Jack Kornfield, Kathleen Dowling Singh, Joan Halifax Roshi, Ram Dass, Stephen & Ondrea Levine and more.
