Charlotte's Historic Black Neighborhoods: One of the three areas of focus for St. Peter's Social Justice Committee is Racial Reconciliation, which could include acknowledging the effects of urban renewal on traditional Black neighborhoods. Levine Museum of the New South and the Charlotte Museum of History invite the congregation at St. Peter's to attend the free program People, Places and Pride: Charlotte's Historic Black Neighborhoods on Sunday, February 28, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Father Ollie plans to attend and encourages parishioners to view this as an extension of worship on this final Sunday of Black History Month...
