What is CWW Best Practice Club?

The Constructing Excellence Best Practice Club in Cheshire, Warrington & Wirral is essentially a forum for individuals from across the construction industry to learn about the principles of best practice. The aim of the club is to arrange events and meetings to allow people to learn and share their experiences. These events are aimed at proving opportunity for forward thinking and the sharing of knowledge to ultimately improve the construction industry.

Who can get involved?

Anyone who is in the construction industry and committed to improving performance. Whether you are a client, main contractor or a supplier, all are welcome to attend events, access resources and engage in group discussion.

EVENTS

Mersey Gateway Presentation

On the 15th April, CWW and Liverpool club joint hosted an event focused upon The Mersey Gateway.

With both clients and contractors presenting, the event was a great opportunity for interested parties to learn more about areas of innovation and best practice surrounding the project.

Initial feedback is showing that the event was a great success, with all attendees gaining valuable insight into the detail of the project.

Many thanks to all who attended and to Merseylink and The Mersey Gateway Project Team for speaking at the event.

Highways Agency Presentation

On the 13th August (8am-11am), Cheshire, Warrington & Wirral Best Practice Club are proud to be hosting an event with the Highways Agency.

Team Leader Paul Whitehead will be discussing the Highways Agency spending profile and upcoming, significant projects. Paul will also discuss key projects that have illustrated best practice and showed initiative in regards to innovation.
