ABSTRACTS DUE 31 MARCH
GHI members are invited to submit abstracts, papers and posters for the 1st Black Sea Association of Food Science and Technology (B-FoST) Congress to be held 22-24 September 2016 in Ohrid, Macedonia. This biennial Congress is gathering the representatives of universities and research institutes, but also food producers and distributors, to promote research, development, innovation and education within food science and technology.
The B-FoST Congress will feature oral and poster presentations by international and domestic scientists and experts, as well as discussion on scientific and review papers in related fields. Interested authors and lecturers can write their abstracts/posters/papers and oral presentations in the following areas and topics, including:
- Food ingredients, structure, additives, supplements
- Food production, engineering, processing and sustainability
- Food analysis, microbiology, chemistry, sensory
- Hygienic engineering and design
- Food quality, safety, security and traceability
- Emerging pathogens
- Contaminants in the food chain
- Packaging, shelf-life and product design
- Food refrigeration and cold chain
- Food biotechnology and novel bioproducts
- Global harmonization of food legislation and regulations
