The Hygienic Design Festival, which takes place 27-29 May 2015 in Ohrid, Macedonia, is a scientific and industry educational and networking event that you won't want to miss! Attendees will have access to three dynamic opportunities: the full scientific conference, a special brokerage event and a food product and equipment exhibition. The Festival is open to all food equipment manufacturers, food manufacturing companies, and scientists and experts working in the fields of hygienic engineering and design, food processing and production, food quality and safety, and food technology and innovation. 

 

SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ABSTRACTS DUE: 15 APRIL

The Conference in Hygienic Engineering and Design & Food Quality and Safety will feature presentations by national and international scientists and experts who will offer new insights into trends and innovations in food and equipment hygiene, quality and safety. Hygienic Design Festival participants are welcome to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations and full original or review scientific papers on a number of Hygienic Engineering and Design and Food Quality/Safety topics, including:

• Materials of construction
• Processing equipment
• Services and utilities
• Process control
• Hazards and risks
• Legislation
• Cleaning and sanitation
• Food analysis
• Education and training

BROKERAGE EVENT

  

Conference participants have the opportunity to join our special Brokerage Event, which is a series of exclusive scheduled face-to-face meetings between academia/research institutions and food producers and equipment manufacturers. Through this event, scientific research institutions and company representatives can promote and establish academia-industry partnerships and create new consortia for application to EU programs such as HORIZON 2010, Erasmus, and Leonardo da Vinci.
