Richmond Farmer's Market
 
The Richmond Farmer's Market will be open this Saturday, September 3rd from 7am to noon on the West side of the Richmond Square.  This event is sponsored by the Richmond Downtown District.

City of Richmond
 
The City of Richmond is a member of the Regional Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program, a service coordinated by the MARC Solid Waste Management District.

Residents have year-round access to the safe disposal of unwanted products such as paint, lawn and garden chemicals, automotive fluids, batteries, florescent bulbs and housecleaners. Business waste is not accepted.

Residents can access the permanent facility in Kansas City and also can attend any of the mobile events scheduled April through October. 

Richmond is hosting an event on Saturday, September 17, 2016. The event will be from 8 am to noon at the city hall parking lot.

Bingo Night
at the Ray County Memorial Veteran's Building.  
The doors will open at 4pm for the meal and games will start at 6pm.  It only costs $20 to play all evening.

We will not have Storytime in August to allow us to prepare children's programming  for the rest of the year. Storytime will resume September 12th.

will have blood pressure checks available Wednesday September 7th from 1-3pm at their facility in Richmond.  

Grace Church

   

The Drop Zone is a FREE Wednesday afterschool program designed for kids Kindergarten through 8th grade to have a safe place to go from early dismissal until 5:30pm.  High School kids can get community service hours by volunteering to help!
 The students are provided transportation from school .   There is still time to register online! They can always use volunteers, donations of healthy snacks, crafting supplies, books (new or gently used) and bottled water. 

 
 
 
Girls' Night Out!
Thursday, September 15
6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The weather is cooling off & the kids are back into their school routine, so why not come to Elements for some downtime & casual dining? Doors will open at 6:00 in the evening. Everyone (even the men!) are welcome to come & go. The ticket price includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, enough food & flavor for dinner.  Cash beer & wine sales will be available. Ticket price is $25 per person includes food, tax & gratuity.

Jonathan Theobald of The Kansas City Songwriters Scene describes Frank's music as "...down home style, finger pickin, and endearing songs warm hearts and leave listeners with that good feeling you get when you've been hangin with good company."
