Richmond Rotary & Reverse Raffle

Today, February 6th at noon at the 19th Hole is the weekly meeting for Richmond Rotary.
Richmond Kiwanis Club

Saturday February 7th, the Richmond Kiwanis Club will be hosting their Chili and Soup Lunch at the United Christian Presbyterian Church from 11am-1pm.   Tickets are $5 ahead of time or $7 at the door.  

Richmond Shrine Club

Saturday February 7th, 2015, The Richmond Shrine Club will be hosting their pancake breakfast at the Shrine Club Building in Richmond.  It will be open from 7am-10am.  The meal cost $7.  

Relay for Life

The Ray County Relay for Life will be having its 
"KickOff" on Saturday February 7th at 1pm at Hometown Pizza in Richmond.  Come and meet the committee and find out what is in store for this year!

DoTERRA Essential Oils Class this Saturday February 7th at 3pm at the office. It will be the last class with Katie Conrad before she moves to California. She will be back periodically to do some classes for us. We hope to see everyone there.

Richmond Kiwanis Club

Tuesday February 10th is the weekly meeting for the Richmond Kiwanis.  It is held at noon every Tuesday at the 19th Hole in Richmond.  On February 24th, the evening meetings will resume.

Visits the Missouri Capital

April 15th, the Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce will be visiting Jefferson City.  We would like for you to come!  the caravan will be leaving at 7am and return around 6pm.

On Tuesday February 10th, The American Legion will be hosting
Bingo Night
at the Ray County Memorial Veteran's Building.  
The doors will open at 4pm for the meal and games will start at 6pm.  It only costs $20 to play all evening.

Future Business Leaders of America
Business Before Hours

February 9th-13th is National FBLA Week.  They will be hosting a Chamber Before Hours on Thursday February 12th from 7:30-9:30am at the Superintendents Office in Richmond.  Come out and support our Future Leaders of Richmond!

Richmond Career Center

The University of Missouri Extension Office will be providing a "free" workshop every month at the Richmond Career Center.   Pre-registration is required, you can call 816-776-3920 x 2501 to register.    February Workshop is on February 12, at 1:30pm, the workshop topic is; "Take Control of Your Finances" this is an open community workshop that offers information to those who are unemployed, underemployed, laid-off or dislocated. Its focus is to help attendees reduce the stress that often comes with these situations by developing a plan to survive financially and continue to meet their needs until a new job opportunity develops.  Topics include: filing for unemployment benefits, resources available to help with employment search, talking with family about finances, developing a budget, prioritizing debts, contacting creditors, avoiding scams and predatory lenders, considering available community resources and more.
