Haven't been to this type of party yet?
To be honest, I was a little skeptical but it was actually pretty cool. You pick your station on your headset, listen to the music you want and take your headphones off when you want to talk to someone.
How it Works
When you arrive, you'll get a special wireless headset that will allow you to tune into one of 3 DJ's spinning at the same time.
► DJ 1 spins today's dance music (Top 40, Hip Hop, EDM, etc.) ► DJ 2 spins 80's & 90's music (Pop, Rock, Old School, etc.) ► DJ 3 spins ethnic party music (Latin, Bollywood, Reggae, etc.)
What's included?
► $4 Beer Specials until 11pm (both bars)
► $5 Shots, $6 Wines all night long (at main level bar)
► All October Birthdays will receive a FREE Drink (show ID @ door)
► 3 DJs spinning a mix of different music
► 1 Quiet Events Headset Rental for the night
How do we mingle if we're wearing headsets?
It's super social; just lower the volume or take the headphones off to talk to other guests. There's no loud music that you have to talk over. Plus, there's no ringing in your ears when you leave :)
The sound quality of the headsets and ability to adjust the volume, let's you hear the music the way you want!
Plus an ice breaker to meet some new people
Everyone will receive half a playing card at the door Find other half & bring it to the bar for a FREE shot
Easy enough?
Now, how do we get to join the party?
► $10 next 20 tickets purchased at - $10 Discounted Early Tickets.
► $15 after that online
► $20 at the door with RSVP at http://davidshapiro.net/events/quietclubbing
► $25 without RSVP
► You MUST indicate you are there for David Shapiro's party!
Please note that Susan (my girlfriend) and my brother Jay who many of you know will be at the door to welcome you and have our guest list of pre-pays and RSVPs, so speak to them when you arrive. We're co-hosting this event with a number of other groups thus it's particularly important to talk to Susan or Jay.
Call 212-579-4844 for more info and I look forward to seeing you there.
