A Note From Janice
 
Hi horse enthusiasts!

Summer is here: show season, fly season, riding season! I hope you've all had a productive spring, taking care of both your own and your horse's mental, emotional and physical well-being.

Here at Amber Waves Farm, I continue to have students passing through, clinics with my dressage trainers and travel for both family and work. As my studio slows down during the summer, I look forward to spending more time with my beautiful horses, as always, exploring and continuing to understand the art of dressage.

Pilates for Dressage® News
April clinic in Columbia, Mo.,
a success

With the help of Pilates instructors Peggy Wilhelm and Trina Link, Janice taught a fun and informative clinic in Columbia, Mo., in April. The clinic helped riders understand how to use their bodies to achieve harmony with their horses. Thanks to Fox Run Horse Boarding and Equestrian Events for hosting us!
Repeat PFD® clinic in Albuquerque gives riders an edge
Janice's May clinic with the New Mexico Dressage Association was her second with the group. This meant the participants were already familiar with the terms and ideas of Pilates for Dressage®, so they were able to advance the concepts further during Janice's time at Horses Unlimited.

PFD® Associate instructors visit Amber Waves Farm 

Several of our Pilates for Dressage® associate instructors visited Janice's Amber Waves farm in May to continue their training.

June 29-July 4: Ocala, Fla.
Janice plans to relax while spending some time at her farm this summer. If you're interested in joining her for a few lessons, let her know.

July 13-17: Holland, Mich.
Janice is spending a week with Dressage trainer Albert Gesierich before taking on some exciting shows this summer.

Aug. 3-7: Blanca, Colo.
Janice will spend some time with Sarah Martin and Sarah's students at Taka Chi Dressage Stables in August.

Trina Link opens studio in Columbia

Trina, a longtime instructor at Dulak Pilates Center in Champaign, has opened Link Pilates in Columbia, Mo. It's located in the Stephens Building on the corner of Hitt and Cherry Streets, and includes customer parking. For more information, please email Trina at linkpilates@gmail.com.
