Friends & Family Yoga Party
|
At MYF, we wanted to create a weekend packed with yoga but couldn't stop there! On Saturday, July 13 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM, we will be hosting a one-of-a-kind Yoga Party.
After an exhilarating day of practice, have your friends and family join you at the festival to experience yoga in a social and fun atmosphere. Live music by Maine's talented Amy Allen, fire hoop performance by Diane Kibbin & Amelia Simhanandi, cool vendors, slackline and aerial yoga demonstrations, kids activities (including yoga classes taught by youth instructors Aleksandra Townsend & Tisha Bremner) contests and prizes. Make sure not to miss it and the best part is it's FREE!

Teacher Profile - Terry Cockburn

Top benefit from a regular yoga practice? While it's difficult to pin point one benefit from my yoga practice, I would have to say that without yoga being an integral part of my life, I would not be a runner. My yoga keeps me running, both mentally and physically. Yoga helps me stay focused and present, as well as injury-free. It has taught me how to listen to my body and to run mindfully. My running goals are achieved because of my yoga practice.
