Due to yet another super snowstorm, our Super Networking party was rescheduled for February 4th.  Harvey Gross reports the event was well-received with great attendance and plenty of interest in discussing the Super Bowl and the game-changing final two minutes. There was super networking, great food, and proceeds from the Silent Auction went to Wounded Warriors and Saint Peters Orphanage. And we were able to hold an additional contest selecting the actual score and we did have winners. We plan on co-hosting this again next year in an upgraded venue near the Newark Train Station.

  

In addition, on February 23rd Bruce Wisotsky chaired a great Networking Breakfast at the Hyatt in Morristown. Kudos to all who joined us there.

 

Now, having survived one of the snowiest Februaries in history, I'm really looking forward to getting out to some events this March. Mark your calendars and don't miss out:

 

Thursday March 19th, 6:30-8:30 pm - Best Social Media Strategies to Climb the Corporate Ladder or Launch a Startup.

We're co-hosting along with the Center for Entrepreneurial Studies in the Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University.  If you are interested in tips on how to use social media to advance and professional networking, mark your calendars. William Giovanniello of BDO Consulting is moderating a panel which includes Sarah Cirelli of WithumSmith+Brown PC; James La Rocca of Gibbons PC; Alicja Patela of EisnerAmper LLP; and Daniel M. Ladik, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Marketing - Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University. Tuesday, March 31st, 6:30-9:00 pm - Pinot's Palette Networking Event

Join NJTMA's NextGen & Women's Division along with the NJCFA's Yo Pro & Women's Division for a networking event that puts your painting skills to the test.  The evening is filled with wine, food and fun while we create our very own work of art. To be held at Pinot's Palette in Montclair, NJ. Register here. 

 

We will also be collecting interview appropriate women's clothing donations for the Morris County Dress for Success suit drive. For more information on the program visit www.dfsmorriscounty.org. 

 

April 21st, 7-9:30 am - 12th Annual Joint Meeting with ACG - Revel's Rippling Effect - The Impact of Revel's Bankruptcy on the Local Economy and Beyond
