mother_daughter retreat
On Sunday, Feb. 21, more than 120 women of heart participated in our annual Mother-Daughter Retreat.  The "sisterhood" energy was contagious!

Here is what our guests said about their experience:
"An excellent opportunity to get closer!"
"Peaceful, filled with love"
"The gift of God"
 "Priceless and needed!"
"Uplifting and warm, in praise of strong women!"

Parent-Teen Open Communication Critical to Prevention

As part of an ongoing effort to provide vital drug- and alcohol-prevention information, Carondelet will introduce the Teen-Safe online program to students and parents next month.

Research shows that talking opening with your child about drugs and alcohol improves their self-control and helps reduce risky and dangerous behaviors. Teen-Safe is a program developed for use by schools and is sponsored by Children's Hospital Boston and Harvard Medical School.

Families will receive more information, including a link to the program for Carondelet students, in early March. All students will be required to complete the 15-minute online program at home with her parents. Please look for more information next month.
