walkStudents Participate in the Walk for Life

Approximately 60 Carondelet students joined over 50,000 pro-life supporters on Saturday, January 26, 2013 for the ninth annual Walk for Life West Coast.  Together, they peacefully and prayerfully marched from Civic Center to Justin Herman Plaza standing up for the protection of innocent human life and supporting the Walk for Life's motto "Women Deserve Better than Abortion."

Congratulations to Briana Oakley '14 who wowed the judges on American Idol last week with her performance of Patty Griffin's "Up to the Mountain" and received a golden ticket to the Hollywood round.

Not only can Briana sing, but she's also a true inspiration. To hear more about Briana's story and see her performance, visit this link.

meditationWednesday Morning Meditation

One of the "Learning Expectations" at Carondelet High School encourages each student to be a practitioner of healthy lifestyles.  In that spirit, we invite students and faculty/staff to come to the chapel each Wednesday morning (except for mornings when we have an early start) from 8:30-9:00 a.m. for a mediation sessions with certified meditation teacher, Melanie DuPuy.

Each session will include ways to practice breath work, gentle stretches, and meditation. Looking forward to seeing you there!
