 Catholic Schools Week is Coming
Catholic schools week is quickly approaching and both the Spiritual Life Council and the ASB councils have been busy planning many fun and fantastic events to celebrate this special time together.
Our week kicks off on Monday, January 28 with a spiritual assembly sponsored by the SLC and dessert sales in the amp and continues throughout the week with an abundance of activities...
- Tuesday- Are you smarter than a Freshman contest against the CHS Faculty.
- Wednesday- Pancake Breakfast from 7:30-9:00 a.m. in the CHS Garaventa Center.
- Thursday- Lunchtime performance in the CHS Gym by cheer, dance, band and the dance club.
- Friday- 94.9 is coming to our gym as well as food sales in the amp to get pumped up for the rally at the end of the day (don't forget your white t-shirt and feel free to embellish it with glow paint, high lighters, etc.)
- Saturday- "Super GLOW Saturday" - our black light dance that is taking on a football theme in honor of Super Bowl Sunday... so get those jerseys ready! Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here...

Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2015
Beginning this week, the College Counselors will be meeting with sophomores through their English 2 classes. Sophomores will be receiving their PLAN test results and continuing their exploration of Naviance, our online college resource.
Each sophomore will be selecting a career to research and will complete an informational interview with someone who works in a field that interests her. Career exploration (What can I be?) is the focus of the sophomore year. Parents/guardians, be sure to ask your daughter to see her packet and PLAN results.

Winter Sports Photos Wanted
From Yearbook: We are looking for photos of our winter sports teams. If you or your daughter has any photos that they would like to share with yearbook, please send them to us at yearbook@carondeleths.org. You can also upload photos to us (10 at a time) via our photo sharing site eShare. The link is located in the quick links box on the parents page (Yearbook Photo Upload).
All photos should be should be sent/uploaded no later than February 10. Thank you

California Scholarship Federation Membership - Apply Today
Applications for the 2012-2013 Spring Membership in CSF (using Semester 1 grades) are available now in the Registrar's office.
Deadline for completion of the process is Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. All students including Freshmen may apply for CSF during this time frame. Please return completed applications, following the application procedure outline on the back of the application, to Mrs. Missaggia in the Registrar's office before the above mentioned deadline........no extensions given.

Mother/Daughter Retreat - Register Now
While the new clothing, tech gadgets or accessories may have fulfilled your daughter's Christmas list, nothing compares to the gift of sharing time with your daughter.
On Sunday, February 10, join us for our annual Mother/Daughter retreat at Carondelet High School which is open to all alumnae, young women of high school age, their mothers, grandmothers, aunts, etc. to gather for a special time of celebrating their unique bond and relationship.
The connection among women of heart is a sacred gift---and in this retreat setting a dynamic process of sharing deepens that bond.

Spring Sports Registration
Reminder! Spring Sports Registration Packets are now available. You can get one in the Athletic Office, the Locker Room Lobby, the Main Office and online. The packets are due by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, January, 28.First day of try-outs is Monday, February 4, 2013.

Parent Chaperones Wanted
We are looking for 5 parent chaperones for the annual Spirit Dance for CHS and DLS students on Saturday, February 2 from 7:00-10:00 p.m. in the Garaventa Center.
If you are interested, please contact the Deans (Ms. Majoy or Ms. Perry) at ext. 196 or 115, before January 31.
You will earn PIP hours for helping with this event.
