greeting
First of Advent:
Sunday, December 2
Advent appears on our December calendars each year, but seems to get lost in the hustle and bustle of shopping and all the other preparations!

So as each of us stands on the edge of the Mystery of Incarnation presented to us in our Catholic Advent tradition, let's take time each day to breathe and spend a few minutes pondering:

We know that God loves us,
but have we ever dared to think that God
loves us so much as to become like us,
Emmanuel, God-with-us?

That is the way God gives, and God's gifts are never quite what we expect but always something better, something far better than we hope for!

Happy Advent journey!
