greetingThis Thursday our country observes not only a holiday but also a kind of holy day as we gather to give thanks to God for the plenitude of blessings we share.

May the spirit enkindle our hearts, our families and our country with gratefulness. And may we remember the words of Meister Eckhart, a spiritual writer of the Middle Ages:
"If the only prayer you say in your life is 'thank you,' that would suffice."

Blessings of thanks to you and your family,
Carondelet Faculty and Staff

Sunday, December 2, 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
What goes up, must come down and we still need several people to help break down the Boutique and Garaventa Center post Visions of Christmas on December 2 from 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  The more help the better and you will receive full credit for the shift even if we finish early!

Can't make these dates/times but still want to help?  View a full list of volunteer opportunities for Visions of Christmas here.

This is a great way to earn some of your PIP hours and start out 2013 with one more thing checked off your list!

cardChristmas Card Design Contest Winner

This year we decided to feature student artwork on our annual Christmas Card.  Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Libby are pleased to announce that the winning design was an original digital image submitted by Courtney Candelario.

Courtney's design features light from the Star of Bethlehem shining on the three Wise Men as they journey toward the stable that houses the newborn Jesus.  Her design will grace cards that are sent to several hundred recipients in our Carondelet community.

Congratulations, Courtney, and thank you to all our students who participated in the contest!
