Thinking Aloud....
Dreaming Just As It Happens - new Comic!
As many of you know I have been drawing dream-related comics for several years. Here are the first two pages of the latest...
And for those of you who can't get enough of the dream comics, check out my dream comic books at http://tinyurl.com/ompn4t7 . This link will take you to a page at Blurb.com with my four dream comic books, and to Dream Images, a beautiful art photography book with my commentary and Diane Farris' spectacular photos. All are suitable for holiday giving!
And, as long as I'm into shameless promotion, don't forget to get copies of my other three books for any dream friends on your holiday gift list: The Wisdom of Your Dreams, Dream Work, and The Living Labyrinth. You can also get copies of Where People Fly and Water Runs Uphill (Wisdom of Your Dreams is a revision of this book). Go to:http://tinyurl.com/nq7wsc6 (this is my Amazon.com author's page).
Happy Holidays to you all. Sweet dreaming in this, the dark season. -Jeremy

The Role of Projective Dreamwork
in Traditional East Asian Medicine
(offered by the Traditional Japanese
Medicine Seminars of Portland)
Join Jeremy and his student Bob Quinn, DAOM, L.Ac. for the fourth annual Chinese Medicine Dream Work Seminar. The workshop is open to all dreamers.
On Day 1 there will be an orientation to Yin-Yang and Five Element theories. Each year the group splits about half-half in terms of prior exposure to Chinese medicine theories. As always in Jeremy's work, multiple perspectives are welcome and encouraged.
A little background: Two thousand years ago in the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine (Huangdi Nejing) two chapters cover the diagnostic importance of dream images. When one reads these chapters and sees the diagnoses matched to the images, it seems as if they are practicing what could be recognized as projective dream work. Fascinating!
It is no surprise to dream workers that health issues pop up in dream symbolism, but that our dreams speak in a language that communicates meaningful information to a Chinese medicine practitioner - even for those dreamers who have had zero exposure to Chinese medical theories - that is something new in this country.

Saturday, Jan 17, 9:00am-5pm
Sunday, Jan 18, 9am - 3pm
