2017 National Scout Jamboree:
It's More Than Just Camp

There are so many definitive experiences in Scouting. Experiences that change lives.

Treks at Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base or the Summit Bechtel Reserve.

And then there is the National Scout Jamboree.  A Jamboree isn't camp. Far from it.

For most Scouts, a National Scout Jamboree is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Held only once every four years, the jamboree is Scouting's largest celebration showcasing the best of Scouting: adventure, leadership, learning, service and so much more.

What is a jamboree?

Picture tens of thousands of Scouts from across the nation all in one amazing location for 10 very special days.  Side-by-side with friends and fellow Scouts, they hike, camp, climb, shoot, swim, dive, boat, rappel, attend massive arena shows and much more.

That's a jamboree.

It's science and technology. It's adventure and travel. It's history and the future. It's fireworks and fun.

It's the stuff that a lifetime of memories are made of.

It's an experience they'll never forget. Ever.

Don't Just Take Our Word For It. Listen to what Scout parents have to say.

"Attending jamboree was one of the experiences my son still talks about. It strengthened his love of Scouting. I'm convinced that Jamboree kept him on the trail to Eagle. It was a mountain-top experience up there with his Philmont trek!"
-        Michael, Scout Dad

"Yes. Are his hiking boots so mud saturated they are unusable now? Yes. Did he have the best time of his short life, and accumulate a ton of memories and skills that will stay with him forever? YES."
-        Cindy, Scout Mom

The 2017 National Scout Jamboree is coming up fast.

Don't let your son miss the magic of Scouting's most iconic event.
