 Cub Scout Fishing Derby
Come one, come all - to the annual Fishing Derby at Camp Kingsley on June 25! It will be a day of fun for Cub Scouts of all ages and their families, with a focus on catching the biggest fish for the day's Fishing Derby!
Check-in begins at 9AM on Saturday, and Scouts can fish from 10AM to 4:30PM. Lunch will be available from 12-1pm. Awards for our top anglers will be given out at the Closing Ceremony in the evening.
Entry Fee for the derby is $10 and includes your lunch and a commemorative patch.

Date: June 10-11, 2016 @ Henderson Scout Reservation
Cost for Brotherhood Candidates is $25 to cover the cost of their new Brotherhood sash
Check in at the dining hall 7-8 p.m. Friday evening. Bring your personal gear, copy of your heath form, work clothes/gloves, water bottle, uniform and OA sash. Friday evening will be light work around camp and a cracker barrel at 9 p.m.
Saturday morning will be work around camp; Saturday afternoon is Brotherhood Testing, Hike and Brotherhood Ceremony. Activities should be concluded 5:30-6 p.m. Saturday's meals will be provided.
(If you already have your Brotherhood and prefer to just come for the day on Saturday, check in is 8-9 a.m. at the dining hall.)

Troop 44 Trip to Indianapolis 500
Troop 44, Clark Mills, recently took a trip to the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500. 16 youth and adults attended. The troop stayed at Camp Belzer while in Indianapolis. In addition to the race, troop members also attended the driver parade and checked out activities in the race in field. The troop is planning on attending again in 2018.

2017 National Scout Jamboree
Experience the best of Scouting all in one place. From stadium shows to merit badges, patch trading to adventure sports, you'll want to be at the Summit Bechtel Reserve in 2017!
Youth registrations are still being accepted for the Leatherstocking Council's contingent to the Jamboree. Make sure you register on the National Jamboree website, and submit your $100 deposit to the Utica Service Center with your Scout's name in the memo line of your check.
