Camperships Available for Summer Camp 2016

Cost should not be a barrier for Scouts to attend camp. The Leatherstocking Council has funds available to help Scouts and families with the cost of camp. Forms can be found here on the Council Website. In the past maximum awards have been $135 for Boy Scouts and $80 for Cub.
A large part of our funding for camperships comes from Operation Sunshine, a charity run by the Utica Observer Dispatch Newspaper. We are always looking for families that would be willing to share their stories on how going to camp has helped their children.

A committee of volunteers will be reviewing the applications starting in April and May.
