Program Components Webinar
Click here to view a video archive presentation led by ISU level official, Beth Crane. Beth delivered an interactive session to a small group of judges to review some of the key concepts covered this summer during the ISU PC seminar in Frankfurt.
The video is meant to be used as a source of continuing education for all Skate Canada judges (applicable to all levels of promotion and all disciplines).

Introductory Interpretive and STAR Team 2 & 3 - Changes
It has come to our attention that Skate Canada has made a couple of changes that will affect our upcoming STARSKate competitions. You will find under 2015-2016 STARSkate Supplementary Events Technical Package that Introductory Interpretive is now to be assessed to standard (not a ranking). This means that a skater may achieve a gold, silver, bronze or merit ribbon.  If 5 skaters skate to the gold standard, then 5 gold ribbons would be awarded. The same change has occurred for Team STAR 2 & 3 events. The events committee has decided that medals will be awarded for the top 3 in introductory interpretive at any 2015 events.
Assessment to standard will be implemented as of January 1, 2016.
Information will be posted on the Section website.

Promotions
On behalf of the Section Officials Coordinating Committee, we wish to recognize and congratulate the following official on a recent promotion:
Bev Salomons

Our Officials play an important role in our sport and their time, dedication and countless hours contribute to supporting the athletes.

Congratulations Bev!
