2013 Adult Figure Skating Championships

2013 Adult Nationals

The 2013 Adult Figure Skating Championships were held in Kamloops, B.C. on the weekend of April 5-7, 2013.  Feedback from the participants indicates that the Valley View Skating Club hosted a first-class event.  The Alberta-NWT/Nunavut team enjoyed a weekend full of personal bests and they brought home 25 medals to prove it!  This included a sweep of the podium in the Ladies Free Skate Bronze Category III, and a fight-from-behind bronze medal finish in the Adult SYS Class I event.  These were just a couple of the many proud moments shared among our Section athletes.  The displays of genuine sportsmanship and the support shown for fellow skaters make competing at the adult championships an inspiring and amazing experience.

Skate Canada: Alberta-NWT-Nunavut wishes to congratulate all of our Section's participants.  For full results, see http://www.skatecanada.ca/en-us/eventsresults/results.aspx
