How do you remain hopeful each day?

Each day I start in prayer to keep my eye on the Lord and put my hopes in Him to keep me walking on His path.  The underlining theme of each prayer is asking God for guidance.  I always pray for God's will to be done for all of those that are on my prayer list.  I ask that God be the beacon of light and spiritual compass to make each of us aware of His presence.

It is amazing when we ask for God's guidance and keep our eyes open for signs of His love  - there are miracles that He shows us.  During my daily walk I find glimpses of His glory that keep my faith ignited.  How I love when those spiritual nudges come from Him.

Do you ever wonder how you are going about your day and someone pops into your mind that you haven't been thinking about?  I find those to be God's guiding nudges. I take the time to remember that person in prayer or even pick up the phone to see how they are doing.  It is amazing that so many times the person needed to hear from me.  I love that God directs our paths.  
 
The Lord will guide you always; 
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land 
and will strengthen your frame. 
You will be like a well-watered garden, 
like a spring whose waters never fail. - Isaiah 58:11

In Isaiah 58:11 we are reminded that the Lord is with us ALWAYS. He is our STRENGTH.  With Him we will never fail. What great reminders of how we are loved by God.
 
Let God be your guiding light today and always.

Dear Lord, I ask for Your guidance. Give me the power of Your grace so that I may hear Your divine instructions. Remove any barriers that keep me from drawing near to You. Open my heart and clear my vision so that I may follow Your path. 

Help me listen and find Your answers to my prayers. 

In Jesus' name, Amen
