RELEVANT YOUTH NEWSLETTER
Saying Goodbye,
Over the past year I have been contemplating my schedule and family life. Peter, my son, will be soon going to preschool, another child is on the way, and my Sundays are incredibly jammed packed.  I believe after your pursuit of God, your family comes next and during this stage of our family's life I need to be available on the weekends. After discussions in the fall with mentors, accountability partners and family, I had come to the decision this would be my last year working in the Youth Ministry at The Falls Church Anglican. I love the church and I love youth ministry, but at this time of life I could not take away Sunday from my family. Working for TFCA and the Youth Ministry for the last 10 years have been some of the best times of my life. I will be on staff until the end of June. Our family will still be attending TFCA, and involved in some forms of ministry serving Christ and others. I have been taking classes and hope to be teaching high school math in the fall.  We are excited about what God has planned for the future of our family (maybe I will be back on staff in 10 years?).
I thank God for allowing me to be part of the staff of TFCA and the Youth Ministry. I will miss it! I thank all of you for helping make this an incredible decade!

With the help of some amazing parent volunteers, we have decided to revamp our sign-up system for Youth Family Dinners to make it easier for you to get involved!

What are Youth Family Dinners?  Every Tuesday night, your childrens' small group leaders (both volunteers and staff) get together for food, fellowship, worship, time in the word, and planning meetings for upcoming events regarding Crossroads and Cornerstone.  We need you to volunteer to bring food (entree, dessert, or salad for 25 people).  You can cook it yourself or purchase something not homemade, then simply bring it by our Youth Office on the Tuesday you signed up for any time from 9 am-6 pm.

To find our sign ups, go to http://www.signupgenius.com/findasignup and enter the email address [email protected]! If you have already signed up on CareCalendar, just send me an email and I will switch you to the new calendar on sign up genius! We can't wait for this new step!
