Calling all CORE students! We're meeting on Wednesday, Feb 5 from 7pm to 8pm in the Youth Office (150 S Washington Street, Suite 100, Falls Church, VA). If you can't make it, please email Betsy.
We will continue diving into scripture as we look at different leaders of the bible. We will also continue to talk about our leadership actions and what it looks like to effectively lead as followers of Christ. Please bring your bible, notebook and a pen with you.

The what and how of prayer, service, meditation, scripture reading and much more! Learn how the Holy Spirit uses the disciplines to form your walk with God. Learn what they are, why they are important and how to use them in your day-to-day life.

Scholarship Donations
| |  Cornerstone and Crossroads reserve funds to provide scholarships for our retreats.
We don't want money (or lack of money) to keep kids from knowing Jesus. If you would like to donate scholarship money so deserving kids can join us on life changing events like Breakaway, we'd love to receive them. Just make out a check to TFCA with "Youth Scholarship" in the memo line.

If you are a parent then you should be excited about our Parent's Class! We'll be looking at different types of parenting and the results they bring! What type of parent are you? We will also discuss the assets and tools to develop a secure child ready to launch the nest! See you 11:00am in the library at Bishop O'Connell. Ted George and I look forward to seeing you there.

The content retention is more on one weekend with a group of young people than a whole year of Sunday morning classes. We have big trips like Breakaway and smaller trips like 8th grade Weekend, Junior Weekend, Sr Florida Trip, and more. Don't miss high school!  |

| |  On Sunday February 16, 2014 there will be neither CRUSH or Coaching classes nor Cornerstone or Crossroads. This is because of Presidents Weekend and high school Breakaway. We will be back in action on Sun, February 23. |

Here are some important details:
Check-in for Breakaway will begin promptly at 4:30pm on Friday, February 14 in the gym at Cherrydale Baptist Church (3910 Lorcom Ln, Arlington, VA, 22207). Please be on time and ready to go! Bring a bag dinner with you to eat on the bus. Campers will return to Cherrydale on Monday, February 17 at 3 pm. Due to Breakaway weekend, there will be NO CS 2/16.
DEADLINE BEFORE LATE FEE:
Jan 21: after that date a $35 late fee will take affect! Cancellations after Jan 31 will forfeit ½ and cancellations after Feb 7 forfeit all of the payment.

Come on out and experience a chance to build community, play games, have breakfast and drink some crush soda as we dive into the Bible and learn about God!
