Scholarship Donations
| | Cornerstone and Crossroads reserve funds to provide scholarships for our retreats. We don't want money (or lack of money) to keep kids from knowing Jesus. If you would like to donate scholarship money so deserving kids can join us on life changing events like Breakaway, we'd love to receive them. Just make out a check to TFCA and put "Youth Scholarship" in the memo line. Mail to: TFCA Youth Ministry 150 S Wasington St, Suite 100 Falls Church, VA 22046 |

WHY DOES OUR CHURCH DO "CONFIRMATION? Each of us wants Jesus to acknowledge us as His own at the Last Day. And who will receive this wonderful acknowledgement? Jesus said, "Everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32.) The Confirmation service is our Church's ritual means of giving each of us an occasion to acknowledge Jesus before men, and to receive the formal blessing and commission of the Church, so that we can joyfully look forward to Jesus' acknowledging us. To prepare Christians to make a mature commitment to Christ, the Confirmation class instructs them in the basics of the Christian faith and prepares them for this event.
